Roman, roller and panel blinds are easy to maintain. We’ve created a list of useful cleaning methods to help keep your blinds in great condition and lasting longer.
The first thing you need to do is check the cleaning methods suggested for your type of blind. Different materials require different care.

Vacuuming your blinds

One of the most effective ways to keep your blinds looking great is to vacuum them using the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner. If you do this regularly, you’ll find that dust and dirt won’t have time to build up. Make sure your vacuum brush is clean and dry before getting started.

Spot cleaning your blinds

  1. If your blinds can be cleaned using the spot cleaning method then here’s what to do:
  2. Mix up a solution of warm water and mild detergent (a household dish detergent would be fine). Orange spray is also a good option.
  3. Test the mixture on a hidden part of the blind to ensure that it won’t cause the colour to run.
  4. Use a sponge to gently wipe the dirty areas of the blind clean.
  5. Using clean water, wipe over the area to remove any cleaning product residue.
  6. Leave the blind to dry naturally.
